What is the Emergency Broadband Benefit?

Through the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program or EBB, Q Link now provides FREE and UNLIMITED Data, Talk, & Text to EBB eligible customers. The EBB is a limited-time program created by the FCC that provides discounts on monthly broadband Internet access services and certain connected devices. This program was created in response to the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic, to serve as a resource to help those who have been financially affected. The EBB will end after the Public Health Emergency no longer exists, or when the FCC sees fit. The program is funded by the US Government’s COVID-19 Relief efforts and has dedicated $3.2 Billion to this program. While the program lasts, EBB recipients will receive Unlimited Data, Talk, Text & a one-time New Tablet. After the Tablet has been shipped and delivered, an invoice of $10.01 will be sent and customers can choose a payment method. Customers will be able to pay the balance of the tablet when it is convenient for them. When the program ends, customers will be able to choose to continue the same Unlimited Plan but at the standard rate or revert to the Lifeline plan.

What does the EBB mean for current Q Link Wireless customers?

Current Q Link customers that are enjoying free phone service with qualification through Lifeline, now have the option to opt into the EBB. Qualifying for the EBB is the same as Lifeline, eligible customers must be a part of a government program like SNAP, Medicaid, or more or be part of a low-income household. Those qualifying customers who OPT IN will receive Unlimited Data, Talk, Text, and a one-time New Tablet through the EBB program. This is a limited-time offer and subject to product availability.

How do I know if I qualify for the EBB?

Those Americans in any of the participating states that qualify for the EBB can enjoy a free and unlimited phone plan if they are on any government program like Medicaid, SNAP, SSI, or any other government programs. Another way to qualify is if you are a part of a low-income household. The best way to find out is by applying now!

What can new Q Link customers get – thanks to the EBB?

This expansion comes from the EBB and means Q Link can provide the same great service in new areas now – giving more Americans the ability to enjoy free phone service! Those new customers in any of the 46 states can apply to receive Unlimited, Data, Talk Text & a one-time New Tablet. This is a limited-time offer and subject to product availability.

This expansion is a massive move for the Q Link company. Any customer on the Q Link network can receive the same great coverage and be a part of a large nationwide 4G LTE/5G network. This means fast speeds, wider coverage, and stronger connection for all eligible customers!
